  • Content Strategy: Develop a content marketing strategy with a focus on social media to emphasize the blend of the best of the luxury spa world with the convenience of the nail salon world to cater to what busy people want most: impeccably executed, efficient services in an ultra-clean environment. because everyone deserves to #FeelLikeATen.
  • Platform Selection: Prioritizing social platforms with a strong visual focus (InstagramTikTok) for organic, B2C content to showcase not only the various beauty services and results but to also highlight our fun, cheeky and #clinicallyclean environment. Prioritizing social platforms with a large number of female GenX and millennial users (Pinterest and Facebook) for paid content to highlight the benefits of being a 10spot beauty bar franchise partner and being your own boss.
  • Consistent Branding: Maintain consistent branding across all platforms for all franchise locations to reinforce brand identity. Positioning the brand as a high-value beauty bar, with a welcoming and energizing vibe.
  • Educational Content: Brainstorm, research, create and execute on social strategy that includes sharing relevant beauty tips, trends, and educational content to position THE TEN SPOT as an authority in beauty and wellness.
  • Content Planning & Scheduling: Establish consistent and creative monthly social content calendars and posting schedule to keep the audience engaged and informed.
  • Contests and Giveaways: Partner with vendors such as Dermalogica, Wrinkle Schminkles and BushBalm to create social contests and giveaways to encourage engagement, expand reach and get our followers excited about new in-bar product launches.
  • X.Club Membership Program Promotions: Promote and explain the benefits of THE TEN SPOT’s x.club membership program and the 3+1  series (for skin and laser hair removal) through social media to incentivize repeat visits.
  • 10spotter, Franchise Partner and Location Spotlights: Regularly feature 10spotter spotlights, praising their work and achievements as an esthetician.
  • Guest Stories: Feature guest stories and service results to build credibility and showcase real results.
  • Localized Content: Tailor content to highlight specific offerings and/or events at each franchise location.

Key Responsibility:

Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy for the brand and 40+ franchise locations that align with the overall marketing and business goals.

Wrinkles Schminkles: Partnership + Retail Launch

In Apil 2023, THE TEN SPOT launched an in-bar retail partnership with Wrinkles Schminkles. All our 40+ franchise locations were stocked with Wrinkles Schminkles reusable, anti-wrinkle silicone skin patches including eye patches and forehead patches.

To promote the launch, the corporate team was invited to test out the Wrinkle Schminkle patches and capture footage of themselves wearing the patches in their regular daily lives such as walking their dog or hosting a meeting. This was to show how our audience that Wrinkles Schminkles silicone patches can be used anytime, anywhere – saving you time and money all while preventing wrinkles! I collected all the footage and created a video to share on social, HERE, to announce the retail launch.

After the announcement of our Wrinkles Schminkles partnership, we hosted a giveaway on our Instagram account and continued to share educational information on the benefits of the anti-wrinkle patches. We also appeared on Wrinkles Schminkles homepage banner.

Cheekbone Beauty: ‘A Day of Truth and Reconciliation’ Influencer Event

THE TEN SPOT was honoured to be a part of Cheekbone Beauty’s first-ever ‘A Day of Truth and Reconciliation’ event hosted at the TikTok Canada headquarters in Toronto in September 2023

Influencers, including @thebirdspapaya were invited to listen and learn as Cheekbone Beauty founder, Jenn Harper, shared her inspiring story of how and why she created Cheekbone Beauty. I was very fortunate to have attended and connected with so many talented individuals including @deannehupfield.

It was an incredible day of listening, learning, acknowledging + supporting the Indigenous community. The 10spot team had a nail booth to paint guests’ nails orange with Indigenous-inspired nail art. After meeting with many humble, local influencers, I was able to form connections and relationships that would later convert some of the guests into 10spot influencers, including @jaimie.weisberg
